Cisco announced end-of-life for the SPA112 and SPA122 on 2 December 2019. The last day businesses could order them was 1 June 2020, and the last date of Cisco support was 27 August 2024 — these devices now get no support, software maintenance or security patches at all. That matters more than usual here: the SPA112 is affected by a critical, unpatched remote code execution flaw (CVE-2023-20126, CVSS 9.8), and Cisco has confirmed it will not release a fix because the device is end-of-life.
